Incorporating the crane into the equipment designated for this project insured that the limbs overhanging the house would not pose a risk to the house or property. This method of removal required two men to be "in the trees". One man, called the hooker safely secured the limb to be removed and the second man, referred to as the climber, then cut the limb free.
Alternatively, when there are structures nearby the tree being removed, we can safely take down the tree in one piece. This tree was about 75 feet tall and our expert was able to very accurately position the fall within a few feet from the target spot. Nothing is as exciting as watching the big ones come down!
This video shows another tree removal that required the crane. The tree was overhanging the house as well as a shed. It required quite a bit of precision and technical experience by our team to safely put this tree on the ground. However, the challenge didn't stop there. The size of the yard required the ground team to work extra fast in sawing the limbs down into manageable sizes for the bobcat to pick up and put into the truck so as not to slow the progress of the crane team.
